Born 1980 in Hamburg, Germany and based in the South West of France.
With an innate need to create as a natural way for expression. Joerg started his artistic path with a huge curiosity and willing to learn from multiple sources. His research goes from the process of making and experiencing the material to the meaning and the feeling between object and intuition. Through that, along the years of practice, he could access the knowledge and the techniques for different types of arts and crafts.
From realistic drawings and paintings to abstract constructions and compositions.
Since 2019 the artist dedicates his life to the work of a sculptor with a preference for wood as material.
I believe that complex emotions can only be expressed by a free and fearless type of representation. As shapes in an abstract universe. As nature in a wild habitat. Energy is matter and matter is shape. Every matter is consciences and only consciences is real. I search for a way to transform matter, using sculptures as tools, to bring shapes to life in order to create communication and movement to reconnect and appreciate.
