Born in 1995 in Gatchina, Russia, Tanya Prystavka is a visual artist and ceramicist. She holds a degree in Fine Arts from Herzen University and a specialization in Contemporary Ceramics from the Stieglitz Academy in Saint Petersburg. Her practice lies at the intersection of object, space, and sensory experience, exploring how material and perception interact to shape emotion and presence.
Prystavka has participated in numerous artistic projects and group exhibitions in Russia and across Europe, including the Nikola-Lenivets Art Park, where her installation Stuck in Textures was nominated for the Sergey Kuryokhin International Award in the category “Art in Public Space.”
Since 2022, she has continued her artistic journey in France, taking part in residencies in Lisbon and the South of France. Her work has been exhibited at institutions such as the Moscow Museum, Triumph Gallery, and the Museum of Decorative Arts in Moscow, as well as in Paris and Barcelona. She is currently a member of the Atelier des Artistes en Exil.
