Located in Paris this two-level apartment was designed for two creative professionals Both grew up in the South of France, inspired by the light of Provence, the sea, and the effortless sensuality of Mediterranean life.
The concept reflects their shared vision — a balance between brutalism and sensitivity, between structure and emotion. The space draws references from Le Corbusier’s modernism, Oscar Niemeyer’s sculptural forms, and the poetic restraint of the 1980s cinematic aesthetic.
Original Haussmannian details — moldings, parquet flooring in a herringbone pattern — were preserved and combined with contemporary furniture and art pieces. The interior features natural materials such as wood, stone, linen, and ceramics, warm beige and sandy tones, and subtle accents of olive and ochre.
Art plays a central role: sketches by Le Corbusier, photographs by Aarons Slim, and a reproduction of Picasso’s Dionysus are displayed alongside ceramics and vintage objects. Two functional fireplaces become sculptural focal points, while flexible wall compositions allow the owners to transform their living space into an intimate exhibition setting.
Through its quiet balance of history and modernity, the apartment becomes a reflection of its inhabitants — two artistic souls who value authenticity, warmth, and the freedom to create.
